WELCOME TO MY AUTHOR JOURNEY

Will Johnson's journey to becoming an author wasn't mapped out—it was built through experience, shaped by purpose, and refined over time. Over more than three decades, he has witnessed Fortune 100 organizations operate at the highest levels, and has stepped into defining moments along the way. Among the most significant was guiding a major financial corporation from the brink of shutdown to a thriving international force. In 2001, he launched his first consulting company, stepping into the world of solving real problems for real organizations, and in 2014, he founded his second firm, continuing to expand his reach and impact.
Long before the boardrooms and strategy sessions, his journey started somewhere much quieter. As a youth, Will wasn't the one speaking up—he listened more than he talked. His father was his first inspiration, instilling in him discipline, work ethic, and integrity. Along the way, many others followed: mentors, leaders, and teachers who each poured into him, shaping who he would become. One teacher, in particular, challenged him to find boldness in his voice and planted a belief that never left him—that the world needs the voices of those trying to make it better. That belief changed everything.
Speaking became a calling. What began as sharing insights evolved into helping others see themselves differently, challenge their limits, and raise their standards. Though Will is not an author by training, years of leadership, setbacks, growth, and reflection led him to one conclusion: his message needed to extend beyond the moment. In September 2026, he will release his first book, Max Out and Go Beyond – Book 1: Build Your Value. Own Your Worth. Refuse to Settle, a framework drawn from decades of lived experience, designed to help individuals maximize their potential and operate at a higher standard.
Even after more than 30 years as a professional, Will approaches growth with the mindset of someone just starting out—curious, driven, and learning as if he were 18 again. His writing reflects that ongoing journey, shaped by the lessons he has learned and the ones he continues to uncover.
Will believes life has a way of nudging you back toward your purpose, again and again. He thanks God every day for those nudges.
